At BlockTheory, one of our core missions as a blockchain R&D hub is to support the crypto community by making Web3 more accessible to newcomers.
To achieve this, we decided to simplify and decode complex blockchain topics, making it easier for everyone to engage with this transformative technology.

The script is the true HERO of this project. A well-crafted narrative has the power to keep viewers engaged until the very end. To achieve this, we structured the script as follows:
Start with a hook or problem statement that resonates with every crypto user.
Introduce the topic (IBC, in my case) as the solution to the problem.
Provide a brief explanation of the topic.
Discuss the future potential of the technology.
It took me three drafts to create the final script that perfectly aligns with our goal.

Since the objective is to simplify complex details, I decided to use minimal visuals to reduce cognitive load and enhance understanding. To achieve this, I chose to use SHAPES as my main visual elements.
Since the objective is to simplify complex details, I decided to use minimal visuals to reduce cognitive load and enhance understanding. To achieve this, I chose to use SHAPES as my main visual elements.
Building on the idea, I moved on to storyboarding. It began with the concept of using elements like triangles and squares to represent cryptocurrencies moving from one blockchain (a big circle) to another. This animation concept guided the visual narrative through to the end.
